Welcome to Combline Academy (“we,” “us,” “our”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the website comblineacademy.com (the “Site”), including all features, functionality, and services offered through the Site, such as our community platform powered by BuddyBoss, online courses via LearnDash, page layouts built with Elementor Pro, and learning enhancements by Uncanny Owl.

By accessing or using the Site—and by completing and submitting any Stylist Finder onboarding form—you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to all of the provisions in these Terms, you may not access or use the Site or participate in our Stylist Finder.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to register for an account, participate in courses, or submit your information for the Stylist Finder. By creating an account or submitting the onboarding form, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and that all information you provide is accurate and complete.

2. Account Registration & Security

• Registration
  To access member-only features (courses, community forums, groups), you must register for an account.
  You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate.
• Security
  You are solely responsible for safeguarding your password and account credentials.
  You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

3. Community Guidelines (BuddyBoss)

• Code of Conduct
  Treat all members with respect. Harassment, hate speech, or discrimination is strictly prohibited.
  Do not post spam, solicitations, or promotional content without express permission.
• Moderation
  We reserve the right to remove any content or suspend accounts that violate community standards, at our sole discretion.

4. Course Access & Usage (LearnDash & Uncanny Owl)

• Enrollment & Access
  Access to course materials is granted upon successful account registration and enrollment.
• Usage
  Course content (videos, quizzes, lessons) is for your personal, non‑commercial use. Redistribution, copying, or public display is prohibited.
• Uncanny Owl Automations
  Automated notifications, drip schedules, or course triggers are provided “as is.” We may modify or suspend these features without notice.

5. Use of Your Information

By submitting your Stylist Finder form (including your name, salon address, phone number, email address, website URL, Facebook URL, and Instagram URL), you expressly consent to the following:

• Certificate Generation
  We may share your personal and business information with our certificate‑generation service in order to produce and issue your official course‑completion certificate.
• Public Directory Listing
  Your name, salon address, and public contact details will be included in our Combline Stylist Finder directory, where they will be visible to prospective clients and site visitors.
• Data Storage & Retention
  We will retain your submitted information for as long as your listing remains active or as required by applicable law.

6. Intellectual Property

• Ownership
  All Site content, design, logos, graphics, videos, and course materials are owned or licensed by Combline Academy and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.
• Limited License
  You are granted a limited, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable license to access and view content for personal use only.

7. User‑Generated Content

• License to Us
  By submitting posts, comments, questions, or other materials (including your Stylist Finder information), you grant Combline Academy a perpetual, worldwide, royalty‑free license to use, reproduce, modify, and display such content.
• Responsibility
  You are solely responsible for your submissions and warrant that they do not infringe third‑party rights or violate any laws.

8. Disclaimers

• No Professional Advice
  Course materials are for educational purposes only and do not constitute professional, legal, or medical advice.
• “As Is”
  We provide the Site and all features “as is” and make no warranties—express or implied—regarding availability, accuracy, or suitability.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither Combline Academy nor its affiliates, officers, or employees will be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or services.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Combline Academy from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising out of your use of the Site, your use of the Stylist Finder directory, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third‑party rights.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access—without notice—if you breach these Terms or pose a security risk. On termination, your rights under these Terms immediately cease and, where applicable, your Stylist Finder listing will be removed.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Site or maintenance of your directory listing after changes indicates your acceptance.

13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Combline Academy is established. Any disputes arising hereunder will be resolved in the appropriate courts of that jurisdiction.
